I was a stay at home Mom for 25 years and had never intended on embarking on a career of any kind; however, I decided to become an appraiser in 1988. At that time it was necessary to have a Real Estate license to find meaningful work so I went to Real Estate School.  As I was applying for appraisal jobs, I decided to hang my license with Century 21. It was during that time that I learned the foundation to go on and have a successful career in sales. I was one of their top agents. I was still wanting to become a good appraiser and the laws changed so going forward I also went to appraiser school and after receiving my appraiser’s license I went to work for a Broker who did appraising and sales.

Ultimately I opened my own appraisal company and became a Real Estate Broker. When the economy tanked in 2008 I applied for a job as an asset manager in Denver, Colorado with a company called LPS (Lender Processing Services) I was hired out of hundreds of applicants due to my vast knowledge of Real Estate. I worked very hard for their company to liquidate foreclosure assets. It was during that time that I became aware of some special tricks of the trade to assist properties in becoming more saleable.

I fell in love with Ocala when I came here in 1992 for a seminar. It reminded me of my original home in Northern Wisconsin with the beautiful countryside and farms. I grew up in love with horses and so I made it a goal to move to the area one day which I did in 2002. I have owned a horse farm since that time and love all things related to farm life. Mucking stalls and smelling fresh cut hay is just a typical fun day.

My husband of 21+ years is an Architect and a designer so together we have become a powerhouse for getting the most money out of our sales.
